Two birthday parties and two soccer games; that was yesterday’s agenda. Just to be clear Malin had the parties and Jesper had the soccer games. Mark and I took turns taking them where they had to be. The projects at home are not moving along quickly.
I have many “events” to write about but I will start with the major events of this week and then if time allows I will backtrack further.

Thursday, school ended. All the classes gathered on the schoolyard and sang different summer songs. It brought back memories. Then we went into the classrooms and all the students did some individual performance. Malin sang “row row row your boat” and Jesper read a text about the cathedral. Malin was very proud of her dress. We were very proud parents. Malins’ teacher had counted the days, the kids have 66 days off before school starts again.

Thursday night, Ingrid, Karin, Johanna and Emrik came by. They had been to Kolmården and stayed with us on their way home. It was fun. We stop by their place all the time when we are in Alfta so it was great to have them at our place. Jesper and Emerik picked the first wild strawberries in our yard. Yesterday, I picked the first strawberries. These strawberries are shoots from our plants in Njurunda (Sundsvall). Yummie.
